Terms of Use
ClinDeck is an AI-powered tool that generates structured dental case presentation drafts from your input notes. By using ClinDeck you agree to the following:
- De-identification responsibility. You will not paste identifying patient information (names, MRN, exact dates of birth, contact details, or any other PHI as defined by HIPAA, DPDP, or your jurisdiction). You are responsible for de-identifying source material before pasting.
- No medical advice. ClinDeck output is a draft for educational use. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. You must verify every clinical fact (diagnoses, dosages, materials, treatment protocols) before any clinical use or presentation.
- AI-generated content. Generated decks may contain errors including hallucinated citations or clinical facts. The disclaimer footer on every slide reflects this. Verify before presenting.
- Acceptable use. ClinDeck is for educational case presentations by dental professionals. Do not use it to generate content for direct patient care decisions.
- No warranty. ClinDeck is provided AS-IS without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Privacy Notice
What we collect and how we handle it:
- What we store: your email (for authentication), the source text you paste, and the generated deck. Stored encrypted at rest in our database.
- What we share: source text is sent to Anthropic (Claude API) for deck generation, and search queries are sent to NCBI PubMed E-utilities for citation lookup. Both are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with anyone else.
- Retention: generated decks are auto-deleted after 90 days if not exported. You can request immediate deletion of any deck or your entire account by emailing the founder.
- No tracking: we do not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies beyond what is required for authentication.
- HIPAA / DPDP: v0.1 is a private alpha and is NOT HIPAA-eligible storage. Do not use it with real patient data. SOC 2 / BAA eligibility is planned for v1.0.
